KISS Biopic to be Released in 2021

KISS, one of the best selling bands of all time, are finally calling it quits. To celebrate, or commemorate this fact they will be releasing a movie biopic in 2021.

KISS manager, Doc McGhee, said a script had already been written for the movie and producer Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles) has signed on to the project.

Band biopics are all the rage these days, with Queen’s biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody coming out in 2018, followed by Elton John’s, Rocketman (2019), and Mötley Crüe’s, The Dirt (2019).

Alongside the movie biopic, a KISS documentary is also in the works, said McGhee.

KISS will play their final show in New York on the 17th July, 2021. Until then, they are on the ‘End of the Road World Tour,’ which takes them across north and south America, through Europe, and then back to the United States.

Their last ever UK show will be at Download Festival on the 12th June this year.
